Hi, I'm Anita!

Creating a film about Panka has made a huge Dream of mine come true.

It was my desire to show what a profound transformation can be achieved through the change of mindset and conscious development training in the life of a dog that is sensitive, both from birth and due to acquired traits.

I would like our story to give hope to those who, like me, share their daily lives with Sensitive Dogs, so that they can gain faith and set off on a new path towards a happier and more fulfilling Life.

It is a common belief that dogs who were adopted or found need to be protected, sheltered and pampered, in order to forget their past.

The truth is that they will never forget their past, but we can work towards ensuring that they do not live their future with the bad experiences of the past.

These dogs should not be locked up. These dogs must be given tasks to do.

They need to be loved sincerely and deeply, but in a way that is good for them.

To get to know them, accept them and understand them.

To teach them to trust and love again.

“From a desperate, helpless, sad and frustrating situation that affected the mood of the whole family, we
have progressed to a livable, happy and manageable life. All of this could not have happened without Anita’s
professional and humane support.”

– Zsuzsa Zahorán-Pirisi

“Anita was the first to tell us that our “Csipke” is a sensitive dog, and an active sensitive one at that. This
recognition immediately explained many of her behavioral problems to us. It is fantastic what she can bring
out in dogs! She sees right away if a dog is “different” from the others, and she has a solution for it!”

Over the past long years, since 2004, I have helped many perplexed and desperate dog owners to get to know their dog and understand their behavior. Then we worked closely to make their time together enjoyable again and to find harmony between them.

I am Anita Kósa, dog trainer, former working dog trainer, a participant of competitions in Hungary and abroad. I am the creator of the “Az Érzékeny Kutya” (The Sensitive Dog) page.

I am deeply passionate about helping Sensitive Dogs develop.

I believe that if we do not look at these dogs with pity, regret or sadness over their past, we take a great burden off not only our dogs, but also ourselves.

If we want to see the possibility of progression in a Sensitive Dog, we create an environment for them that is based on completely different emotions. And if they feel these supportive energies, they will believe that their future can be brighter and more joyful.

Panka and Anita

When they first met, she could have been nearly 10 month old, cream-colored dog roaming the streets.
You couldn’t go near her, she was so scared.

She ran away from people, cars, loud noises. From everything. She would only pick up food if it was dropped on the ground, at a sufficient distance.

Then she was in heat and from then on, she was only seen with a male dog, for about a week.
Since she mated several times, she had to be caught somehow, because if not, she would have had
puppies in 2 months. Somewhere. On the street, under a bush or amongst the trees…

Despite her capture being gentle and careful, she still experienced it as an immense trauma, so she
immediately peed and pooed herself.
Soon after, she fainted from the severe shock.

This is where it begins.
Panka’s story.

The story of a Dog who is taken in by an experienced dog trainer.
Someone who won’t even say the words fearful, frightened, traumatized or weak to her. Because she believes in the power of words.
Someone who looks at her differently. Someone who sees the possibility of progress in her. Someone who tells her, “You are a gift!”.

She doesn’t feel sorry for her, doesn’t pity her, doesn’t blame her past for her strange behavior, but is
constantly working to make Panka open up to her. She wants to help her to learn what it is to be touched, what it is to love, to trust. She wants her to have a happy life.

For her, she is simply Panka,
The Sensitive Dog.

Panka’s transformation may seem like magic, but it is not.
Her remarkable progress is the result of conscious development training.

The expression of

Sensitivity

From a very mild, almost unrecognizable, easily treatable level to a very severe degree to the point of being dangerous – responding with aggression out of fear -, sensitivity can appear anywhere and in any form.

How can we recognize if a dog is sensitive?

With Panka, it is relatively easy to decide if she is a Sensitive Dog or not.

Perhaps one doesn’t even need to be an expert to see that her movement and posture are not natural. She shows the inclination to flee with nearly every inch of her body.

If a dog’s behavior is not so extreme in certain challenging situations, can it still be sensitive?

Yes, it can.

The Sensitivity of Dogs is often not recognized.
